Guests move through a series of media-rich pre-show rooms that take you back in time, grounding the attraction in the spirit and traditions of Niagara’s first peoples. Witness how geological forces carved the gorge and created the Falls slowly over time.
The Ancestor's Room
A pivotal part of the Niagara Takes Flight experience, this room brings guests on a journey through the region’s history and culture. Listen to Elders recounting traditional stories around the fire, and learn about the values and perspectives of the region’s first inhabitants in this stunning space, designed with input from Indigenous artists and leaders.
The Waterfall Room
Niagara Falls hasn’t always been the world-renowned destination it is today. Take a step back in time at the Waterfall Room and learn how industrial milestones transformed the area into a tourism powerhouse. Explore historical exhibits, interactive multimedia displays and immersive storytelling that brings the past to life.
The Transporter
This is your final stop before you begin your epic adventure on Niagara Takes Flight. Step inside the Transporter and prepare for the main flying experience, where you’ll begin your descent into the launch chamber. Using the power of water, you’ll be propelled into the sky on a high-octane thriller unlike any other.
Now for the main event: a soaring adventure from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie in front of a 180-degree domed screen. Led by Rick Rothschild, a former Disney Imagineer, the ride takes you 56 kilometres over swirling rapids, lush Niagara forests and historic battle sites, as you glide like a bird, before culminating in an up close encounter with the mighty Horseshoe Falls. It’s the only attraction that offers a complete view of Niagara Parks from every angle.
Even after your flight, Niagara has plenty of ways to amaze. Stand beside the roaring waterfall at Journey Behind the Falls or explore the rapids along the White Water Walk. Together, it makes for a totally thrilling and unforgettable day in Niagara.
