Warwick Le Crystal is in a prime location to explore downtown Montréal

We spend a few days in the heart of Québec's most populous city, at a downtown Montréal hotel complete with one of Québec’s most celebrated Thai restaurants.

Warwick Le Crystal Montréal: What's the draw?

Nestled in the centre of Montréal’s downtown, the Warwick Le Crystal’s prime location and expansive rooms are already enough to draw you in. And with high-speed WiFi, smart TVs, gigantic bathrooms with soaker tubs and rainfall showers, and mini-bars packed with local goodies, it’s a convenient go-to for a stay in Montréal.

A 10-minute walk from the Via Rail station, steps from Saint Catherine Street, and with several public transit stops nearby, the hotel serves as a great jumping-off point for accessing Montréal’s many unique neighbourhoods. This is a place where you can relax, recharge and get ready to dive back into the next adventure waiting right outside your door.

Warwick Le Crystal Montréal: What's on the menu?

The hotel is home to Siam Centre-Ville, from one of Québec’s most authentic and lauded Thai restaurant chains. It was awarded the prestigious Thai Select Signature certification from the Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government — one of only seven awarded in the province.

There are plenty of à la carte options, but we recommend the Tasting Platter; for $84.95, you and a friend can share a sampling of two signature mains, like crispy chicken or beef panang curry, plus tea or coffee. Montréal is a bonafide foodie city, though, so you’re only a stone’s throw from spots like Bar George, Cloakroom Bar and Maison Boulud. Time Out Market is around the corner, too.

Warwick Le Crystal Montréal: What else?

You’ll have all of your needs covered with Warwick Le Crystal’s fitness centre, spa and indoor saltwater pool on the 12th floor. The 2,500-square-foot Éléments Maison de Beauté spa has seven private cabins where you can reset, with everything from massages and facials to nail care and hair removal.

Open year-round, the outdoor hot tub offers both relaxation and gorgeous views of the city. The Warwick Le Crystal is also pet-friendly; not only does the hotel welcome furry companions, but even provides them a “Warwick Pet Kit,” including a bed cushion, food bowl and treats to make them feel right at home.
