Bleary-eyed passengers departing or transiting through Pearson International Airport now have another reliable source for caffeination and pre-flight sustenance with the opening of the Air Canada Café in early September.

Located in the domestic gate area, the Air Canada Café joins the airport’s existing Maple Leaf Lounges available to status travellers with access to premium lounges.

Options at the bistro-style café include freshly squeezed orange juice, Lavazza coffee, cold brew mocktails, Greenhouse Juice kombuchas and cold-press juices. For a luxurious nibble, expect Lindt truffle chocolates and OKA cheese.

Prior to 11am, lounge members can access yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries, while fresh salads, sandwiches and cheese are on offer into the afternoon. Busy business folks can use complimentary Wi-Fi to log in work hours between flights or catch up on news with access to digital newspapers and magazines.

Livening up the café with an artistic touch is a large-scale mural by Canadian painter Shawn Evans. It depicts the places he has lived and travelled, from prairie skies to the rugged Rockies and street scenes of Toronto.

The lounge, located at Gate D20, can be accessed by Maple Leaf Lounge qualifying members. One-time passes can be purchased for $25-50 prior to your flight.
