There’s a new way to get high in Malahat, B.C. Opening this month, and only 35 minutes from Victoria, the Malahat SkyWalk is set to be the most exciting new attraction on Vancouver Island.

Standing at 250-metres above sea level, visitors can stroll along the 600-metre-long accessible, elevated walkway through a towering Arbutus and Douglas Fir forest. The trek is rewarded with a dazzling 360-degree view of two countries from a 10-storey spiral tower lookout — the first of its kind in British Columbia.

After soaking up the glorious B.C. views, thrill seekers can opt to return to the ground in style on an exhilarating 20-metre spiral slide (don’t worry, you can always walk down the old fashioned way).

If you’re looking for Canada’s best natural high, make sure to keep an eye out for the Malahat SkyWalk’s launch date. Once open, the SkyWalk will be operational seven days a week, 365 days a year.
