Just Landed: Flying with weed rules (!)

On the heels of weed legalization, we outline the basic rules for travelling with cannabis.

Since the legalization of marijuana, the floodgates are open for questions about every scenario that could possibly involve the provocative plant. Travelling tokers should know that weed cannot be taken across the Canadian border – in either direction. Even when travelling to or from a country where weed is legal, you can’t take your cannabis with you.

On domestic flights, Canadians can now bring up to 30 grams of the happy herb in a carry-on or checked luggage. But make sure you know the laws in the province you’re landing in – each jurisdiction has its own rules and regulations regarding reefer.
