Honouring the beloved holiday movie’s 30th anniversary, you can celebrate the season just like the Griswolds with a National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation-inspired getaway. This festive offering is hosted by the Ivy Hotel in Chicago, where the movie takes place.
Whether you’re hosting bickering in-laws, surprise RV guests or just your nearest and dearest, Christmas Vacation at the Ivy will have you getting all up in those holiday feels. This package includes accommodations in one of the Ivy’s suites, that will be decked out in the type of holiday finery that would make Clark Griswold proud. Expect a fully-decorated, over-the-top tree and sparkling lights strung throughout your suite. To get everyone into the festive spirit, ugly Christmas sweaters will be provided for all guests, along with a set of Christmas ornaments for everyone to take home.
Since Christmas isn’t complete without a celebratory meal, this package also includes a fully catered, in-room Christmas dinner complete with glazed honey baked ham, sliced turkey and a selection of sides. Christmas Vacation at the Ivy packages, which start at about $525 per night, are available for bookings through December 31, 2019, with travel dates between December 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020.
