Thanks to a new PortsToronto public art initiative at Billy Bishop Airport, your next journey to and from YTZ will immerse you in the spirit of the city. The Perspectives Arts Program recruits talented local artists to share their interpretations of Toronto, from its iconic landmarks to its diversity and culture. These colourful, vibrant works are displayed in the pedestrian tunnel; take time to admire them as you stroll leisurely to your gate, or out of the airport.

The 20 works of art, which will be regularly refreshed with new submissions, offer passengers — whether they're visiting for the first time, or returning home — a fresh perspective on Toronto. For the first installation, you can explore fantastic pieces by Anishinaabe artists, painters and photographers. Check out some of the pieces in the gallery below.

The Perspectives Arts Program may expand to the passenger terminal in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for more gorgeous art in Toronto's city airport soon.
